Hunters can help feed the hungry by donating deer meat through Missouri’s Share the Harvest program.
Josephville Meat Processing is one of more than 75 meat processors participating in the program, a partnership among the Conservation Federation of Missouri, the Missouri Department of Conservation, local meat processors, and the state’s food banks and food pantries.
Adam Richardson, the owner of Josephville Meat Processing and a member of St. Joseph Parish in Josephville, explains the process, from accepting deer to donating meat to food banks, and how the program helps area families.
